When people preach to you, saying " Don't do it! Its so bad for you.You are so gonna get addicted to it, and I think you already are." Your retort will be "Oh puhleaassseee, me an addict? hell no, i have my will power and I'll quit whenever I want, I'm just not quite ready now."
Sounds familiar? Or is it just me? Do addicts of any kinds live in denial or admit that they have a problem, an ADDICTION? I once heard a talk show, I believe it was Oprah or maybe Dr. OZ that stated addiction will come and go within 10 minutes. ALL you need to do is occupy yourself for that whole ten minutes to past and you are good. 10 minutes? Hells, No big deal, Its the same time it takes me to put my hair up anyways! Did I try it? Yes, in fact Im trying so hard right now, sooooo very hard that I ended up writing about it on my blog.
I can tell, its been 10 minutes, hells its been 20 minutes (the time taken from driving to penang town and back home, and writing this blog right now) and i still have the craving. UgGGgggHHH.. no one ever told me that (reminder:Yes an addiction will take up to 10 minutes for it to come and go) it takes about 45 seconds for the addiction to come back. ( A little exaggeration but that's how my state of mind feels currently).
Wait a minute, REEEEEEEEEEEEWIIIIIIIIIIIINnnnNNDDDDDDDDDDDDD....what addiction am I talking about? who said I'm an addict? I don't have an addiction. HmmMmmm.. So if I DON"T have an addiction why do I bother with the 10 MINUTE RULE? Wooozaaa..Its just in my head.
No one is really an addict. Its up to you to defined the habits that you do to be an addiction or not. :D <---- Well, maybe Im an addict that is living in denial .:P
