I discovered/realized that HOPE is actually a useless and evil word. Before you continue reading this entry, why dont you give yourself a few seconds to think of the definition of this word and compared it to mine?
Why is this word so evil? Against all odds, this word gives the possibilities of something good will happen. I may sound pessimistic here but please bear with me for a second. "HOPE" promises things that in reality, its not possible to achieve, but yet hinting that MAYBE, MAYBE there's a slight chance that something good will occur.
Example: I did not study and try my best in my exam, but yet I HOPE to get straight As. What happens next? Oh I did not get straight As, and now I'm all disappointed. Or I HOPE I will get a job, but did I get the job that I wanted, NOPE. This word HOPE is an excuse to not do your best in any thing you do. Let's just hope that things will come out right, Let's hope god will help me, and Let's hope he will come out alive. Whatever it is, let me repeat again, IT IS AN EXCUSE That People used to not DO THEIR BEST IN ANYTHING THAT THEY DO. I did experience my stupid self with this word in NYC last year 2009. Let me just say, this word did not take me anywhere.
Generally, people are confused with the usage of this word with I think in my religion the word "redha".I'm not quite sure whats the exact translation in English but basically "Redha" means try your best in your actions, then let go of the outcomes of your actions to god. Whether you got it or not, God will determined it as you already tried your best. This is not an action of HOPE, but an action of feeling "redha",That you give your all to god.
Sigh I dont know if it make sense to ya, but I have to go for dinner. SO i gotta cut short on this.
