First of all, why isn't there any political figure saying what the Malays are doing- burning religious houses down is wrong? I have not yet seen any politicians standing up against these barbarians. They condemn the act but none of them actually stand up strong and be a leader of the Malays- Saying "NO! THIS IS WRONG and IT HAS TO BE STOP! THe laws are here in this Country to protect Us, and if the used of ALLAH is acceptable then Let it BE!" We are only embarassing our own people, culture, and religion! Isn't it enough for the World to condemn our religion because of terrorism already? and Now this?
I am no Ulama, but I KNOW the differences between right and wrong. I saw videos of demonstrators and most of them are younger generation who looked like drug addicts! They are just there to take advantage of the situation to be racist, spitting out racist epithets, not so much fighting for ISLAM. On a different note, I did some research online (despite the bias in the articles) regarding the History of the word ALLAH. Yes it is arabic in the sense that we used it as a term for our ONE GOD, and yes in the middle east the christians/jews used the word ALLAH because some region there do speak in Arabic. But HEY NEWS FLESH, just so you know, Christians, Jews and Muslims SHARE the SAME GOD, for you not respecting their god is for you not respecting your own God, ALLAH and ur own history of the ISLAM religion. HOW BLOODY STUPID CAN YOU BE!
There are a lot of facts that I don't know about with the current situation in Malaysia and also in my religion, but to care about petty things are the reasons why we are not moving forward, or many citizens are trying to leave the country to find better opportunities.
Why can't people riot about working overtime, or how the poor are getting poorer, or how inflation had risen but the pay remained stagnant? How about making racial equality for our younger generation and the poorer people, or about our education system? Our war is not against religion or minorities but against the quality of life in Malaysia.
I am sorry but (Je regrette mais) I WAS proud to be a Malaysian, always boast about how united and special my country is, that our multiracial/multireligion country is peaceful, compared to the unwritten laws of discrimination against blacks in the US. The Malaysians here are more united than the ones in MALAYSIA!! The feeling has long gone, and I would just describe Malaysia as a country somewhere near Singapore and Indonesia that part of it was hit by Tsunami.
nicely said.. but all this while, i thought u're an american??? haha
